March 15, 1928. After a Tuesday sitting in legislature, The United Farmers of Alberta published an article titled “Efforts Made to Delay the Sterilization Bill Proves Unsuccessful”. Archie M. Matheson attempted to get the debate adjourned, which would have delayed the passing of the bill. Two votes were taken, with some debate between, and Matheson’s attempt was denied, being voted down both times. The article recorded the names of those voted and their vote.
